Rights of neighbours

Neighbours whether relatives or non-relatives must be treated nicely.

Rights of friends

  • It is not allowed for friends to visit each other’s places without permission.
  • It is necessary to ask for permission before entering a friend’s place.
  • One should greet with loud voice while entering the house of a friend.
  • If the friend cannot give time for some reason, one should come back without regret.
  • Guests should be served well according to affordability of the host.
  • It is obligatory to treat the guest with honour.

Rights of orphans

  • Quran has ordained virtue and kindness toward orphans.
  • The guardian of orphans, once the orphans reach maturity, should hand over their wealth to them.
  • The people, who marry orphan ladies, have obligation to treat them as they would treat a normal woman.
  • The person who steals from the orphan fills his belly with the fire of hell.
  • The wealth of orphans must be returned honestly and it must not be replaced by faulty items or unequal wealth.
  • Orphans should be treated very kindly and not be hurt.
  • Orphans should be fed and helped especially monetarily.
  • The self-esteem of orphans must not be hurt.
  • Relatives, who happen to be orphans, must be looked after with great care.
  • The state should spend some part of the wealth of recovery from battles on the welfare of orphans.
  • The one who does not believe in the afterlife would mistreat an orphan.
