Components of Islam

• There are six articles of faith:

1. To believe in God,
2. To believe in the angels,
3. To believe in His books,
4. To believe in His prophets,
5. To believe in the here-after,
6. To believe in fate.

Faith in Oneness of God

• There is only one God who is not father or son to anyone nor is there any one like Him.
• If there were more than one God; the universe would have collapsed because of the clash between mighty powers.

Faith in Prophet-hood of Mohammad PBUH

• For Guidance of people; God appointed prophets from time to time, to various groups of people.
• Quran teaches to believe in all prophets without exception.
• Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last messenger of God and there will be no prophet appointed after him.
• Jesus Christ (PBUH) was the son of Mary and he was born without father.
• It is obligatory to believe in Jesus like believing in other prophets.
• Neither is Jesus (PBUH) son of God, nor is Mary part of Him.
• The person who calls Jesus son of God or God is a non-believer.
• Gabriel also is not the son, nor a part of God.
