Prophet’s Methodology of Revolution
Training
o The
first thing is keeping alive the revolutionary ideology.
o The
second thing is listening and obeying.
o The
third thing is to be ready to sacrifice everything in the way of God.
French
revolution and Bolshevik revolution and such, all came in to existence after a
huge sacrifice of lives.
For
the cleansing of the soul, the Holy Prophet PBUH was instructed by God to recite
from his revelation. Same applied to his companions.
In the present time,
members of the revolutionary group also are supposed to recite Quran in routine
and especially at night. Now the obligatory prayers apply to them also.
Passive Resistance in Prophet’s
Struggle
Quran
implies!
§ O
prophet, we know what people say hurts you.
§ O
prophet, be patient with people and ignore them.
This was the first
thing done by the non-believers to the prophet. They assasinated the character
of Holy Prophet and later persecuted his companions.
At the point, believers
were not allowed to react. Some of them were tortured, some killed. But the
rest were silent.
The instruction to the
Muslims was!
“Keep
your hands tied.”
Disappointed with the misbehaviour
of the Meccans. Holy Prophet went to Taef and there also got refused and later
the street urchins attacked him. Holy Prophet made a beseeching supplication to
God asking him for help and humbly submitting himself to His cause.
It has to be kept in
mind that active form of resistance cannot be initial prematurely.
For instance,
the ‘Movement of Martyrs’ in the nineteenth century led by Syed Ahmed Barelvi
went unsuccessful because of prematurely launched active resistance.
Similarly,
Molana Abul Ala Modudi made a mistake by taking for granted Pakistan as Islamic
state and its electoral process to be dependable.
Quran implies!
Truth comes and lie
vanishes, this is what is bound to occur ultimately.
Holy Prophet during the
first six months in Madina, constructed a mosque ‘Masjid E Nabvi’ this was not
just a place for worship but an institution.
Plus, Holy Prophet
declared the people who had moved from Mecca brothers to the people who welcomed
them in Madina. A whole lot of generous sacrifices were made by the Madinites
for Meccans.
Further, the Holy
Prophet made a profoundly strategic move when he made treaties with the local
tribes, especially Jewish ones.
The treaty is called “Mesaaq e Madina”. One of
the main clauses, was if Madina is attacked from outside, then, both Muslims
and Jews will fight to protect it in alliance.
